A busy bee
There are lots of happenings around the Griffin household. We hosted a few get togethers the past couple of weekends, enjoyed State home games, have a few furniture projects to work on, starting to re-paint the half bath, planning the husbands and moms birthday parties for next month (it is a very special birthday year for each), and planning for all of the holidays coming up. We started a tradition in our house to decorate the day after Thanksgiving since we are off work that day, so this Friday morning I plan to unload the attic with all of the holiday decorations. Also on our to-do list is to get our Christmas cards mailed out. Taking our picture in front of our tree has become a tradition as well. I've been browsing for a card to use so that I am ready to go! These are among my favorites that I am deciding on. All cards are from Tiny Prints who I've used the past couple of years. I love that I can have my address book on the site, they will print the mailing and return address, and mail them for me!
Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving week!

Fall Table Decor
Hope everyone is doing well! Wow, where is the Fall going? It's flying by! Halloween has come and gone, daylights saving time is this weekend, and Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away! I love a great decorated table and here are some of my favorites to help enjoy the last few weeks left of the season!

Fall Wreath
A couple of weekends ago I finished the new fall wreath for my front door. I used the same wreath that I had last year (and also blogged about) and just removed the decor that was on there before, which I plan to reuse of course. I searched Pinterest and found some inspiration for what I had in mind.
And here is the transformation to my wreath that cost about an extra $9 to make which included gold spray paint, leaves from AC Moore, extra glue sticks and around 30 minutes of my time. An easy and fast way to turn something old into something new!

Oh how I love Sundays
Take some time this Sunday to read a book, watch your favorite movie, bake a fabulous dessert, take a long nap, or visit with loved ones. Whatever it is you choose to do, make sure you take some time to relax!
Happy Sunday!
